What is Contract Manufacturing?
Our contract manufacturing program is designed for brands looking for a domestic, reliable production partner to launch or scale their own candle line. Because these projects involve custom sourcing, testing, and production setup, minimums are higher than a typical wholesale order—most runs begin in the thousands of units.
Timelines vary based on complexity, but fully custom programs can take several months from kickoff to delivery. Please plan for upfront development costs along the way, such as custom fragrance work, specialized containers, wick testing, sampling, proofs, and label/design fees.

Product Development
If your project includes custom vessels, packaging, or scent development, we’ll coordinate samples and approvals with your team. This stage may include fragrance evaluation, wick testing, label proofs, and packaging fit checks.

Production
Production begins once all components are received and approved (vessels, wicks, fragrance, labels, packaging). Lead times vary by complexity and quantity—complex projects may take several weeks, while repeatable runs can ship faster once the program is established.

Delivery
Smaller shipments typically go out via UPS. Larger orders ship palletized via LTL (or full truckload when needed) to ensure safe transit and efficient receiving.

Contract Manufacturing FAQ’s
Is there a minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Our contract manufacturing minimums are 500–1,000 units per SKU (per scent). If you’re planning a 10-scent launch, minimums apply to each scent—meaning a first production run can easily reach 10,000+ total units depending on the minimum selected.
